Forming Silk II - Emergent Forming

A woman with a bouquet of white tulips and a book stands in a bright room.

Through practice-based material experimentation—particularly with high-twist silk—the research investigates how active yarns introduce movement, elasticity, and form. Embracing emergence and material unpredictability, the project positions weaving as an active process where structure, material, and form evolve together.
